The Kind of Leadership Our World Is Crying Out For

Apr 05, 2012

When you listen to people trumpeting the latest political candidate they are supporting, if you are at all consciousness, you realize how different you are from the majority.

As you hear political candidates, you observe the rhetoric, the spin, the attacks on other candidates, none of which sounds the least bit conscious. You realize how little these individuals really have to offer our world.

On the contrary, all of this trumpeting and attacking comes from what Eckhart Tolle refers to as the “ego,” along with its flip side the “pain-body.”

Leadership for People Who Don't Need Leaders

Mar 26, 2012

Wherever you look, you see support groups. People join them every day, and there seem to be more and more of them. When one group breaks up, another forms. Why?

Why Negative Political Messages Work

Mar 12, 2012

The reason this kind of message is successful lies in what Eckhart Tolle calls the ego and its flip side, the pain-body.

Feb 05, 2012

It’s always possible that some have had more previous lives than others. It’s also possible that some have risen to the challenge of their experiences in this life and have gained skill in living meaningfully as a result.

A person who seems like an “old soul” may simply be someone who has faced up to the lesson in each of their experiences instead of resisting growth.

If You Feel You Need an Identity, You Invite Pain into Your Life

Feb 03, 2012

We’ve all been taught it’s important to know who we are. How can we ever amount to anything if we don’t discover our identity?

So, who are you as a person? Are you sure you really know? Have you pinned your identity down?

It’s commonly said by those who are on a spiritual journey, “Look inside for answers.” There’s certainly a truth to the idea that our answers come from within.

Increase Your Divine Consciousness

Jan 28, 2012

The divine presence works through all the circumstances of our lives—all the people and events—to open our eyes to the beautiful people we really are.

Consciousness is an evolving, emerging state of being.

It isn’t a given, and it isn’t something God can wave a magic wand to instantaneously create.
