Introduction

Those who are drawn to this Course will sense that we are living at a pivotal moment in our collective evolution as a species.

For the first time, we are now aware enough to take charge of our own evolution, consciously choosing to evolve to a higher state of being. We are weary of the ways of unconsciousness, the personal and collective egoic insanity that’s evident in humankind’s myriad forms of suffering.

Journey to Higher Consciousness takes a different approach from study courses that require thinking and mental “efforting” to first remember, then apply the content of our thought.

Although Journey to Higher Consciousness requires reading, the words are merely recognizable conceptual forms intended to facilitate entering our consciousness, spark recognition, and ignite sincere inquiry. The Course is addressed to what we will refer to throughout as the “inner knower” in all of us.

Journey to Higher Consciousness will be presented in sections posted weekly. This will allow us to focus on the content of one section at a time and, if we so wish, enter into dialogue on this content in the space provided in each section.

In effect, we will be writing much of this course together, as participants pose questions, share experiences, and bring awareness to each other.

This course will evolve as our consciousness evolves, which means it’s a never-ending journey, since there is nothing but consciousness in perpetual evolution.

We are in this form we call “a human being” to evolve to a higher state of being – one which brings us closer to realizing and living from our essence, which is an expression of our divine source.
