Q: Do I have to be a member of the Namaste Community in order to participate in the Affiliate Program?

A: Yes. You can become a member by clicking the Membership (link) button at the top right-hand corner of any page on the site. All we ask for is a username and email address. Membership is free.

Q: In order for someone to purchase from the Namaste Store, do they have to become a member of the Namaste Community?

A: No, anyone coming to our website can make purchases from our Store.  However, if you want to participate in our various interactive forums and book studies, you must become a member.  Membership is free. To become a member, you simply click on the Membership button at the top right-hand corner of any page on the site. All we ask for is a username and email address.

Q: If my application for the Affiliate Partner Program is rejected, once I comply with the deficiencies given, may I resubmit my application? 

A: Yes.

Q: I can’t get a PayPal Account. Is there another method to receive Affiliate payments from the Namaste Affiliate Program? 

A: Sorry, but at this time we are only set up to run affiliate payments directly through PayPal.

Q: Where do the linking badges and banners link to?

A: Currently, the linking badges and banners all link to the store home page on the Namaste Publishing website: http://www.namastepublishing.com/store.

Q: How much commission will I earn?

A: Affiliate commission is 5% of revenues derived by us from sales of qualifying products sold during sessions initiated through Affiliate links on your site, excluding costs for shipping, handling, gift-wrapping, taxes separately stated and charged to the customer, service charges, credit card processing fees, returns and bad debt.  Please refer to the Affiliate Agreement for definitions of a qualifying product. 

Q: When do I receive payment for referrals to your site which result in the purchase of publications/products?

A: We will pay referral fees on publications/products sold after order, payment, and shipping have occurred.  Affiliate Partners will be on a payment schedule.

Q. Please explain what you mean by payment schedule.

A: Referral fees will be paid on a semi-annual basis. We will pay referral fees on publications/products sold after order, payment, and shipping have occurred.  Affiliate Partners will be on a payment schedule of twice a year.  Money owing for the period of January 1 – June 30 will be paid into your PayPal Account before or by July 31.  Money owing you for the period May 1 to December 31 will be paid into your PayPal account before or by January 31.

All payments will be made in US dollars, and all amounts set forth in this Agreement are stated in US dollars. 

Q. If I become a Namaste Affiliate, does this mean that Namaste can link back to my site as an Affiliate and receive the same benefits?

A. No, the links involved in our Program are simply from your site to ours.

Q: What if I don’t want to join the Affiliate Sales Program, but I want to support Namaste Publishing by linking to the site?

A: This would be wonderful, and we welcome your support. You can grab Namaste or Bizah link “badges” to the Community and Inspiration areas of the Namaste website. You can place these badges in a wide variety of places: your website, your blog, your Newsletter, Facebook or MySpace pages, and so on to show your support.

Q: If someone uses this link to the Namaste Store and purchases several products, do I earn commission on the entire sale?

A: You will receive your commission on the full amount of the entire sale during the same transaction resulting from an affiliate link.

Q: What if someone saw a link on my website but would prefer to phone in their order, can I still make a commission as long as they say where they saw the link?

A: No, only sales resulting from a used link can be tracked and paid out through our Affiliate payment program.

Q: What if a customer links to you from my website and then comes back to the namastepublishing.com Store to make another purchase through a bookmark or through Google Search, do I still earn commission on what that customer buys?

A: No, even if the customer previously followed a link from your site to us, the customer has to link to us directly from your website each time they make a purchase in order to track the purchase in the Affiliate Program.

Q: Is my referral fee based on the entire purchase price including taxes and shipping or just on the price of the book or item?

A: Just the price of the book or item, shipping fees and taxes do not qualify for commission.

Q: What if the book is on sale, will I make less money?

A: You will receive 5% of the price of the item(s), either of the full price or sale price. Namaste Publishing reserves the right to place items on sale at our discretion.

Q: I see my linked product is in a “bundle”, meaning the order consists of a number of publications/products put together as one sale item, in the Namaste Store. Will I receive commission on the full price of the bundle?

A: Yes.

Q: What countries can participate in the affiliate program?

A: Any country can participate, as long as you can set up an account through PayPal.  Please see here for a list of countries in the Paypal network: https://www.paypal.com/worldwide/

Q: How do I view my Affiliate report?

A: Since you need to be member of the Namaste Community in order to participate in the Affiliate Program, your Affiliate Sales Report will show up in your member profile settings.

You can get to the report by logging into namastepublishing.com, going to your member profile page and clicking on the “affiliate centre” tab.  Here, you can view your commission and payment history.

Q: How do I get the linking badges and put them on my website?

A: Log into your member account at namastepublishing.com and go to the tab on your member profile labelled “Affiliate Centre”.  Choose the badge or banner that fits your website layout and grab the tracking code to add to your website.

Q.  If I decide after becoming an Affiliate Partner that I want to resign from this status, may I easily do so?

A. Yes, please contact Nora Morin at either 1-888-557-6672 or by email at nora@namastepublishing.com and advise her that you want to discontinue your Affiliate status.  She will then quickly take the necessary steps to take you of this list in our system.

Q: What if your Terms of Agreement change, will you notify me?

A: We may notify you, or we may post the new terms or a link to a revised Agreement on the Namaste website.
