Why is stillness helpful for awakening? 

In a nutshell, because it’s a way to access the field of consciousness and to create from this field.

All creation must originate in stillness in order to be manifest. The energy of stillness is the energy out of which everything has been birthed. It’s the field of pure and infinite potential. All that has or will be created has stillness as its causative signature.  

When we are out of touch with the stillness within us, we are out of touch with our essence. We have temporarily lost sight of who we really are, with little if any awareness of our divine source.

A.   Recall a time when you could feel that you were out of touch with your essential being. How did you know you were off-kilter?
